Our Story

The Sporthotel Floralpina lies on the Alpe di Siusi, in the middle of the national park Sciliar - Catinaccio, embedded in the unique mountain scenery of the Dolomites on 1750m.

Since 1949 the Sporthotel Floralpina, is on the actual position and is therefore one of the traditional hotels on the Alpe. The name „flor alpina“ derives from an alpine flower.

In 2013 the Floralpina was renewed and has received the current shape. You can expect alpine-modern rooms & suites that are made “with lot of nature”. The majority of our rooms have been completely renovated in recent years.

Our Wellness & SPA consists of two areas, which comprise a total of 770 m² of soothing relaxation and regeneration in summer and winter. The new extended area was opened in July 2018. There are indoor and outdoor swimming pools available, different saunas and various relaxation areas.

Whether you like hiking, climbing, mountain biking, trail running or just want to enjoy the sun, all this awaits you in our alpine summer right on our doorstep. Enjoy pure alpine life with nature, peace and relaxation and bring home e a lot of beautiful memories and a little "homesickness for our hotel".

After an imperial breakfast, put on your pre-warmed ski boots, get into the bindings and start your skiing day in the white wonders of the Dolomites directly from our Sporthotel. In less than a minute you are already in one of the two in-house chairlifts with a protective cover, which offer you access to 60 km of perfectly groomed slopes, including connections to Val Gardena and the Sellaronda.

Our master chef will show you why the South Tyrolean cuisine is one of the tastiest in Europe, but can also taste international delicacies. At the Sporthotel Floralpina you will receive selected products, which are harvested from our vegetable and herb garden on the Alpe di Siusi, as well as products produced by local farmers, butchers and bakers. But you also get products from Lake Garda, where Mr. Kofler grows and sorts vegetables, fruit, olive oil and wine on his farm Monte in Lazise.
