The question we get asked most often is: where can you enjoy a truly local meal, somewhere simple, yet full of the authentic flavors and tastes of Lake Como?

Osteria Vecchio Molo in Laglio is one of our favorite answers.

A traditional lakeside restaurant where everything feels genuine: red-and-white checkered tablecloths, a chalkboard listing the daily specials, colorful string lights, and an atmosphere that captures the essence of old Lake Como.

Here, lake fish takes center stage.

Our recommendation? Start with the Antipasto di Lago, a selection of local specialties that perfectly introduces the flavors of the lake. Then continue with the famous Risotto with Perch, one of Lake Como’s most iconic dishes. Alternatively, the fish fillet with potatoes is always an excellent choice.
