Chic and friendly accommodation in the heart of historic Florence

02/11/2026

Inspired by the quiet precision of Japanese interiors, the Tompkins Suite takes a different turn in Florence, where Japanese sensibility meets an unmistakably Italian eye, craftsmanship, character, and a love of nature, coming together naturally.

A room with its own language, yet unmistakably part of the Jungle.

Breakfast should never feel like something to rush through.

At Velona’s Jungle, it is served until noon because Florence can wait, and so can the rest of the day.

Book directly on our website and use promo code INSTACLUB.

A Ginori cup. Original parquet.
The Livingstone Suite is one of those rooms our guests tend to remember.

Stay awhile.
Ours to share, yours to enjoy

The Fossey Suite has that rare feeling of a place already waiting for you, generous, welcoming, and easy to make your own.

A softer side of the Jungle.

The Lovelock Suite pairs the romance of John Derian’s iconic rose designs with delicate tones and a sense of intimacy that reveals itself slowly.

A room for mornings that begin gently and evenings that take their time.

Room to settle in, room to stay awhile.

The Goodall Suite has a way of making you slow down without ever asking you to.

More space to stretch out, read a few pages, finish a coffee, or simply let the day unfold at its own pace.

Florence is right outside. You can take your time.

Three years. One MICHELIN Key. And a smile that says more than words could.

Behind this year’s MICHELIN Key are the smiles of our guests, the dedication of our team, and all the care that goes into making every stay feel personal.

I am deeply grateful to see Velona’s Jungle recognised once again. But what means the most to me is knowing that, behind this Key, there are people who have chosen to stay with us, return to us, and make this little place what it is.

Thank you for being part of it.

Love,
Veronica

A little wilderness, in the comfort of the Darwin Suite.

Mustard tones, warm woods, and an elephant-shaped lamp keeping watch beside the bed. Eclectic, tactile, and decidedly Italian in spirit, with the kind of details that make a room feel collected rather than decorated.

Step inside, and the jungle begins.

Deep blue, unexpected creatures, rich textures, and objects chosen with the same instinct you use when furnishing your own home, simply because you love them.

At Velona’s Jungle, every detail has a story to tell, but nothing is ever quite as expected.

A point of colour. A touch of velvet. A very deliberate choice.
