We are delighted to welcome to Hotel Schwarzschmied as our next Artist in Residence.

From June 14-21, Mieke will spend her time with us, drawing inspiration from the surrounding mountains, the stillness of the landscape, and the atmosphere of Schwarzschmied for her artistic practice.

Her stay will begin with an Artist Talk on June 15 at 8.30 pm in the lobby of Hotel Schwarzschmied, where Mieke will be in conversation with local artist .egger_studio. Together, they will speak about memory, nature, and her slow, intuitive approach to ceramics and printmaking.

Wild Herb Workshop Series with Dr. Jutta Tappeiner Ebner

Starting on June 7, we invite you to join our new Wild Herb Workshop Series, a hands-on experience exploring medicinal and wild plants, traditional European herbal medicine, and natural craftsmanship.

Together with Dr. Jutta Tappeiner Ebner, you can discover the basics of herbalism and create plant-based care products, reconnecting with nature through mindful practice and lived knowledge.

Held throughout June from 4:00 to 5:45 pm, the workshop is open to both hotel and external guests for €35 per person. The workshop will be held in German language.
