We know it’s not even Halloween yet, so talking about the holidays might feel a little premature! But some unexpected openings have popped up at Casa Campolattaro, and we wanted to share.
The holidays are just around the corner, and winter in Tuscany is truly wonderful, from festive markets and twinkling lights to cozy trattorias and quieter streets.
Our plans have had to shift, so we may be opening up even more dates in the coming months, including in-demand spring availability.

Autumn in Tuscany is perfection.

One of our favorite little streets in Lucca is Chiasso Barletti, a tiny medieval alleyway.
And if you remember to look up, you’ll spot something you might otherwise miss: a beautiful Liberty-style sgraffito featuring the faces of two of Lucca’s most celebrated composers, Giacomo Puccini and Alfredo Catalani.
It’s located directly across from one of our favorite restaurants, .
The artwork has weathered over time, but I t’s one of those little details that rewards you for slowing down and looking up.
Lucca is full of them.
