Un ampio soggiorno, al pian terreno, si sviluppa intorno al camino, punto centrale della casa, finemente decorato con maioliche artigianali, intorno al quale una scala elicoidale si avvolge e conduce al piano superiore, interamente voltato a botte, dove si possono trovare una camera matrimoniale dotata di bagno, ed una camera, per un adulto o due bambini dotata di due letti singoli. Altro punto centrale della residenza è la cucina, con la sua vista mozzafiato a strapiombo sulle murge materane, da qui una scala conduce al piano inferiore, interamente scavato nella roccia tufacea dei Sassi a formare un'ampia ed accogliente camera matrimoniale, con vista a strapiombo sulla Murgia. Agostino, the historic residence on the edge of the Matera’s Murgia, is unique for its breath-taking view. It is a three-story house and shows elements from typical architectures of the Sassi of Matera. The residence preserves a close contact with the surrounding landscape and environment through amazing glimpses and charming perspectives, made of trick of the light and windows. It suits best the specific needs of everyone because of the wide shared rooms and of the smart interior design. At the ground floor a large living room develops all around the chimney, which is the main point of the residence, decorated with handcrafted majolica. On the chimney there is a spiral stairway, which leads to the first floor, made as a barrel vault and where are placed other two rooms, a master room with private bathroom and a double room with two single beds. Another focal point of the house is the kitchen with its breath-taking view on the “sharp stone” environment of the Murgia. Right next to the kitchen there is a stairway that leads to the bottom floor, wholly carved into the tufa cave of the Sassi, where there is another ample and comfortable master room with a romantic and wonderful view.
