Nur noch wenige Tage, dann startet endlich das Alpenflair 2026.

Auch bei uns laufen die Vorbereitungen bereits auf Hochtouren. Dieses Jahr wartet im Garten ein kleiner Festival-Stand auf euch - mit Wegbier, Weißwurst & Brezel, Bratwurst im Brot und kühlen Getränken für zwischendurch.

Ob vor dem Festival, zwischen zwei Konzerten oder einfach zum Entspannen in der Sonne - unser Garten ist der perfekte Treffpunkt für eine kleine Auszeit.

Wir freuen uns auf bekannte Gesichter, neue Gäste, viele gute Gespräche und eine unvergessliche Festivalwoche.

MINERAL MONDAY ✦ PLUMOSITE IN QUARTZ

At first glance, it almost looks like a cluster of tiny silver-blue crystals.

But take a closer look…

This remarkable specimen is known as Plumosite in Quartz. The countless quartz crystals are filled with delicate inclusions that give them their distinctive smoky blue-grey appearance and shimmering character.

The closer you look, the more details emerge – hundreds of perfectly formed crystals, each unique, yet together creating something extraordinary.

MINERAL MONDAY ✦ STILBITE & CHALCEDONY

Today’s journey takes us to India 🇮🇳

It shows only a tiny detail of this remarkable specimen.

At close range, the delicate peach-colored Stilbite crystals almost resemble flower petals growing inside a hidden crystal garden.

The green interior is formed by Chalcedony, while the soft peach crystals belong to the zeolite mineral Stilbite. Together, they create a stunning contrast shaped by nature over millions of years.

Fun fact: Minerals like Stilbite often form inside ancient volcanic cavities. What once was a bubble trapped in lava slowly transformed into a world of crystals beneath the Earth’s surface.

Today we take a short journey to our neighboring country, Austria 🇦🇹

This extraordinary specimen is known as Flos Ferri, which translates to “Flower of Iron.” The delicate white formations resemble tiny coral branches or frozen blossoms.

Flos Ferri is a rare variety of aragonite and is especially famous in the Austrian region of Styria, where some of the world’s finest specimens have been discovered.

Fun fact: Because of its intricate and fragile structure, every piece is completely unique and highly prized by collectors.

This remarkable Smoky Quartz from Brazil weighs an impressive 135 kg and was named “Yin-Yang” for a reason.

Smoky Quartz gets its warm brown tones through natural radiation deep within the earth. The darker and lighter crystals standing side by side create a striking contrast - two opposites in perfect balance.
