Madrid arrived in Parabita not as a theme, but as a frequency.🌅✨
For the first K.ALMA SESSIONS at the Palazzo, the garden became a meeting point between two ways of celebrating: the Salento ritual of staying close to the evening, and the Madrileño instinct of letting the afternoon become something else entirely. Mónica, a close friend of the Palazzo and the heart behind K.ALMA, brought the spirit of the tardeo madrileño to the garden— intimate, generous, slightly mischievous. Jesús G. & Ari can all the way from Madrid and carried the sound through vinyl, while Gabriele Albergo brought a touch of surrealism to the afternoon with images that feel both local and international, shaped by a way of seeing the world where Parabita can suddenly belong everywhere.
There were pintxos, wine, music, familiar faces, new conversations, and that rare thing we always hope for: a room — or in this case, a garden — that slowly becomes its own world.
A different light on the endless possibilities of being together.

What captures your imagination?🌅
For us, it is the way a celebration can gather an entire town around one shared feeling.
And just like that, the Festa della Madonna della Coltura has come and gone — leaving behind lights, music, devotion, late nights, full tables, and that particular kind of magic only the South knows how to create. We have been a little quiet here since then. A pause felt necessary. Some moments are better lived first, posted later.
The energy Parabita puts into this festivity is something else. Tender, loud, generous, sacred, chaotic in the best possible way. And this year, we were so happy to share it with guests who understood its rhythm — the beauty of a town opening itself, not as a performance, but as a tradition.
To those who shared a tavolata with us in the piazza, watched the procession from the balcony, met the locals, followed the music, felt the devotion, and let themselves be carried by it all: grazie✨
And to those who dream of experiencing Salento in a more intimate, real, slightly surreal way — we will see you next year.

Today, a new little world opens its doors in Parabita.💙 , one of the artists who helped us dream up and celebrate Puglia Surrealista, now has a home of her own here in town: , a space filled with colour, instinct, imagination, and that very particular poetry that belongs only to her.
We have always believed that Parabita reveals itself through the people who dare to look at it differently. Laurenji is one of those people.
So today, we celebrate her, her new shop, and the beautiful universe she continues to build — one brushstroke, one object, one surreal little detail at a time.

There’s something magical about seeing Palazzo through a different pair of eyes. .spedicato , a young photographer and friend of the house, captured the garden exactly as we feel it: its colours, its rhythm, its quiet intimacy, and that little sense of fun always moving beneath the surface. Parabita is getting ready for its festa.🌅 Next week, the town celebrates Maria SS. della Coltura, its patron saint — one of those rituals that is not simply marked on a calendar, but carried through the streets, year after year. For now, it is still preparation: lights above the roads, small movements in the piazza, voices travelling a little further than usual. Soon there will be processions, bands, fireworks, luminarie — and that particular southern theatre where devotion, memory and daily life all meet outside. For those visiting Parabita, this is one of the most beautiful ways to understand the town. Not as something curated or performed, but as it truly is: brighter than usual, a little louder, deeply itself. For those staying with us during this time, we are so looking forward to it✨🫶🌅

what captures your imagination?🌅
Matter became memory last Friday evening here at the Palazzo. Giovanni Lamorgese ( ) brought his contradictions gently into our lobby. Roberto Esposito ( ) let the piano say what words wouldn’t. And we listened.
Bugie Vere, Vere Bugie is our new permanent guest. And the Palazzo became, once again, a small stage for the unexpected.
A special thanks to our friend and an amazing photographer Gabriele Fiorito ( ) , whose eye held what the evening couldn’t keep.🌅
And this way, Puglia Surrealista takes another step into the real Puglia, seen by different eyes✨

Bugie Vere, Vere Bugie.
There are evenings when the Palazzo changes its rhythm.🌅

On Friday, 8 May, we welcome a work by **Giovanni Lamorgese**, in dialogue with an out-of-tune piano entrusted to **Roberto Esposito**.

Now part of Palazzo Piccinno, this work enters the house not only as an object to be displayed, but as a presence to live with — and one we are happy, slowly and sincerely, to share with the world.

An encounter between matter and sound, presence and representation, what we show and what we keep hidden.

Rooted in the tradition of **Lecce papier-mâché**, the work carries a subtle reflection on the masks we wear, and the small fictions we use to protect our fragility.

A private evening for friends, guests, and people close to the house.

What captures your imagination in the morning?🌅

Here, breakfast was never meant to be a routine. It became something else—something we kept returning to, refining, questioning.
This year, it found a new shape. Breakfast Surrealista begins as an idea—imagined by .
Not a menu, but a feeling. A way of seeing Puglia slightly differently—through contrast, memory, and quiet surprise.
From there, it moves into hands.
Into rhythm.
Into something you can actually taste.

Kate ( )is the one who brings it together each morning. With care, with patience and dedication.
Around it, the table begins to form.
The mise en place is shaped by —
earth, texture, imperfection.

And then, the plates.
Designed by ,
each one carrying its own small story, its own gesture.

It starts to feel like something else entirely. Like sitting at a table with a whole town. With the people, the ideas, the hands that make this place what it is.

Breakfast, yes.
But also a moment where everything slowly comes together.

Some places in Salento still hold their cool. Gallipoli is one of them — old streets, salt air, a lunch that stretches into afternoon. Baia Verde beside it, unhurried and open.
This is one of our favourite ways to spend a day away from the Palazzo. Not a itinerary. Just a rhythm worth following.
