Once a Monastery built in the 18th century (bound as cultural heritage),
then a hotel, an orphanage. Now earmarked for tourist luxury apartments.

Rispettare la storia dell’edificio per rinnovare il suo prestigio.

Ex Monastero del Santuario della Madonna dell’Apparizione, costruito nel 1700 (oggi vincolato come patrimonio culturale) e destinato poi ad Albergo, successivamente ad Orfanatrofio, ora a residenze turistiche di pregio.

Pellestrina, a timeless island.
Island of fishermen that has maintained its traditions over time without major changes. Population of ancient origins not reached by migratory flows where everyone knows each other and at night you sleep without closing the door.
Productive activities on the island limited to fishing, agriculture and today to a bit of tourism: island is therefore preserved from environmental and acoustic pollution.

Pellestrina, un’isola senza tempo.
Isola di pescatori che ha mantenuto nel tempo le proprie tradizioni senza mutazioni di rilievo. Popolazione dalle antiche origini non raggiunta da flussi migratori dove tutti si conoscono e la notte si dorme senza chiudere la porta.
Attività produttive nell’isola limitate alla pesca, all’agricoltura ed oggi ad un po’ di turismo: isola quindi preservata da inquinamenti ambientali ed acustici.
