L'estate a Pienza si vive in tre momenti.
La mattina presto, quando l'aria è ancora fresca e il borgo è tutto tuo. Nessun turista, nessun rumore. Solo i tuoi passi sul selciato, la luce dorata sui tetti, il panorama della Val d'Orcia che si sveglia insieme a te. È il momento più bello della giornata — e lo hanno capito in pochi.
Il pomeriggio, quando il sole è alto, si torna in camera. Persiane chiuse, aria fresca, silenzio assoluto. La siesta toscana non è un'abitudine pigra — è il lusso più grande che esista.

Summer in Pienza unfolds in three moments.
Early morning, when the air is still cool and the village belongs only to you. No crowds, no noise. Just your footsteps on the stone streets, golden light across the rooftops, the Val d'Orcia waking up alongside you. It is the most beautiful part of the day — and very few people know it.
In the afternoon, when the sun is at its highest, you come back inside. Shutters closed, cool air, complete silence. The Tuscan siesta is not laziness — it is the greatest luxury there is.
And then the evening arrives. Pienza comes alive. The tables fill up, people stroll slowly along the Corso, the air turns soft and cool. The sunset sets the hills on fire — amber, rose, violet — and a glass of Brunello becomes the perfect ending to a day lived well.
