🇬🇧 Our olive oil is born here, at Castello del Trebbio, and reflects the care that goes into every stage of its production, from the olive groves to the pressing.

By following each step of the process closely, we can take care of the raw ingredients and bring out their distinctive qualities. This is the value of a short supply chain: knowing every stage and overseeing the entire process, while maintaining a direct connection with what we produce.

Anna tells us more about this work as we approach the start of a new harvest and the making of a new vintage of our olive oil.

Seguire da vicino le diverse fasi della produzione ci permette di prenderci cura della materia prima e di valorizzarne le caratteristiche. È questo il valore della filiera corta: conoscere e accompagnare ogni passaggio, mantenendo un legame diretto con ciò che produciamo.

Darin liegt der Wert einer kurzen Lieferkette: jeden Schritt zu kennen und zu begleiten und dabei eine direkte Verbindung zu dem zu bewahren, was wir selbst herstellen.

🇬🇧 The 2021 Chianti Rufina Riserva DOCG and the 2021 Vigneto Lastricato Terraelectae Chianti Rufina Riserva DOCG have been awarded the Gold Medal at the WineHunter Award, while Congiura Toscana IGT 2024 received the Red Medal.

Three different w**es, expressions of different vineyards and interpretations, yet all part of the same work we carry forward every day at Castello del Trebbio.

A recognition that gives voice to Chianti Rufina, to its hills and to the character these lands bring to the w**es.

🇮🇹 Il Chianti Rufina Riserva DOCG 2021 e il Vigneto Lastricato Terraelectae Chianti Rufina Riserva DOCG 2021 hanno conquistato la Medaglia d’Oro al WineHunter Award, mentre Congiura Toscana IGT 2024 ha ricevuto la Medaglia Rossa.

Tre vini diversi, espressioni di vigne e interpretazioni differenti, ma parte dello stesso lavoro che portiamo avanti ogni giorno al Castello del Trebbio.

Un riconoscimento che dà voce al Chianti Rufina, alle sue colline e al carattere che queste terre sanno imprimere nei vini.

This is where the grapes, after being dried, rest for years, while the wood and time slowly accompany their transformation.

It is a tradition that requires patience and, at Castello del Trebbio, continues to this day, following a rhythm that cannot be rushed.

🇮🇹 Tra le mura della cantina, i caratelli custodiscono uno dei vini più legati alla tradizione toscana: il Vin Santo.

È qui che le uve, dopo il loro appassimento, riposano per anni, mentre il legno e il tempo ne accompagnano lentamente la trasformazione.

È una tradizione che richiede pazienza e che al Castello del Trebbio continua ancora oggi, seguendo un ritmo che non si può accelerare.

🇬🇧 Born from the vineyard it takes its name from, Vigneto Lastricato represents one of the deepest expressions of our estate: a Chianti Rufina Riserva that brings together the character of our land, the strength of Sangiovese and a story that continues to mature over time.

Its 2021 vintage has now received another important recognition: 95/100 and the Faccino DoctorWine award.

A result that adds to the accolades already received by this vintage, and one we are pleased to share as further confirmation of the character and identity of this w**e.

The opportunity to taste it will be at the presentation of the Essential Guide to Italian Wines:
