The Daily Cooking is ideal for those who want to have, in one lesson, the basis to start
giving the impression of great cuisine to their dishes. The peculiarity of our courses, compared to the theoretical courses , is given by an active
participation of the students in the preparation of the entire menu. It is expected, in fact, that each participant consumes the meal that he prepared with his
own
hands under the supervision of the chef and that, once home, he’ll be able to prepare
the same dishes with the same skills and deliciousness. The lesson begins in the organic vegetable garden of the Villa Maria Restaurant, where
the participants , together with the chef, harvest the vegetables that will then use in
the preparation of dishes. At the same time, the chef will also provide the students with
historical and nutritional information. Very interesting is the visit to the cave, of ancient origin, which lies in the garden, and inside which you can admire a medieval chapel dedicated to the Archangel Michael. The cave was once the place of prayer for the farmers who went there during breaks from work. The visit is also open to our hotels’ guests. Each course lasts approximately 3 hours and starts at 11:00 or at 15:00 (unless differently agreed with
customers’ needs) and is held in a typical rustic kitchen. A Lesson includes the preparation of a starter, first course, main course. The dessert will be served (not prepared).
