UN ANNO CON I RIFUGI DELLE ALPI MARITTIME E DEL MARGUAREIS - OTTOBRE 2024: Rifugio Don Barbera 2070 m

Hai tempo sino al 20 ottobre per andare e trovare accoglienza al Don Barbera. Il rifugio venne costruito dal Cai di Albenga nel 1966, quale punto di appoggio per la salita al Marguareis dalla Valle Tanaro. Ricorda Don Umberto Barbera, appassionato alpinista che iniziò alla montagna molto giovani ingauni. Nel 2006 nelle immediate vicinanze dell’originaria struttura prefabbricata tipo “Morteo” è stato realizzato un moderno fabbricato in muratura costruito dal Parco su terreno del Comune di Briga Alta. Il rifugio sorge al confine con la Francia e lungo l’Alta Via del Sale, strada bianca che collega Limone a Monesi. Il custode della struttura è Matteo Eula.

'L Caliè Bed & Breakfast - Roaschia (CN) - Piedmont Italy

The Bed and Breakfast 'L Calié bears in a just refurbished old house in the center of the pretty village of Roaschia, in Valle Gesso, Piedmont. The name is due to the fact that in the second half of the 1800s the house was partly used as a shoemaker workshop: "calié" actually means "shoemaker" in the local dialect. The current owner has completely renovate the house integrating large windows and new elements, made of wood, stone and steel, in the ancient building. The result is a very welcoming location that preserves its historical character refreshed with contemporary solutions. 'L Calié B&B’, inaugurated in july 2017, offers its guests three very comfortable bedrooms, each featuring a private bathroom with shower, a breakfast room and a private parking. Our bedrooms, named like blooming plants, are: Rosa, Malva and Salvia. All rooms have double bed or twin beds, with a private bathroom with shower; upon request it's possibile to add a third bed or a cot bed. The "Rosa" and "Malva" rooms are located in the old part of the building, and they retain the original vaults and niches on the walls. The headboards are restored ancient doors, once present in the building. The "Salvia" room is contemporary with beams and columns in steel, a large window and a characteristic ceiling of the ancient structure. Guests can also enjoy a cozy breakfast room located in the old kitchen, where there is still a fireplace and an original marble sink. Perfect for lovers of nature and stillness, it's an ideal base for trekking, mountain biking and outdoor activities or simply to relax away from the hustle and bustle of the city. We look forward to receiving you in a cozy environment with all our care and attention.
