🧛What about this dark chocolate 🍫 dripping like blood🩸over a bone-white cold cake, resting on a bed of toasted nuts?🌰

Okay, maybe 🎃Halloween is not an Italian thing, but delicious food definitely is!😅🇮🇹😋
We just couldn’t resist sharing this treat to 🔪kill the waiting time until our Guests’ very late check-in tonight!🌘

👻Happy Halloween, dear Nesters!
See you in Rome!📍

📬These past three weeks have been some of the most challenging we have ever had in more than 11 years of The Best Nest…

Honestly, within a bunch of days we have met some of the very worst and Best Guests ever…🌓
Actually, we did not even really meet some of those in the first group: we preferred to 💸refund 100% of their reservation because their bad manners would never be welcomed here!⛔️
⚡️This stands as the hundredth proof that we have always valued people much more than money at TBN❣️

In the meantime, we have faced some very delicate situations that needed every single day of our +11-year experience to be solved, 🎩🪄literally saving our Guests’ travel plans and peace of mind!
We have had to cope with the most unacceptable rudeness from guests who had been perfectly able to veil their real meanness🎭, but we have also welcomed to TBN Family some of the sweetest people ever🌷and even hugged again 3 couples of Best Nesters who came back home in Rome for their 2nd stays at TBN!🏡

🎢It was a sleep-deprived⏱️rollercoaster of emotions between depths of gross injustices and peaks of pure Love.
Then we looked at the great beauty which is all around us in Rome🇮🇹and at the heartfelt reviews of the people we have dreamt TBN for.❤️🖋️
🥰And Love wins all, and Karma handles the rest!💫😅

In this world of falsity and greed, still being capable of kindness and gratitude is the real revolution.

💌Grazie mille, Best Nesters!
Thanks to you, TBN means Family.🫶

💭Gastòn just wanted to remind you that every time you book one of our Nests, you are supporting the pet shelter that saved his life…❤️‍🩹🐾

Can you imagine that he was incredibly thin (which is unbelievable indeed if you swipe to pic 3!😅) and seriously injured from a car accident when those angels found him?
Shortly after, they found us and we were lucky enough to adopt him, just like we did with our beloved dogs, Sandy and Daisy!
🐶🐱🐶

Those doctors, vets, and volunteers do absolute miracles🙏, and we are incredibly proud to support them with part of TBN’s income.

So remember:

🏡At TBN, you are not just enjoying a once-in-a-lifetime experience in Rome.
You are also giving precious time and a second chance to other lives.❤️

💌On a deeper note:

Since we founded The Best Nest in 2015, tons of our Nesters have decided to make independent donations to these rescues.
If you would like to help too, just send us a DM and we’ll give you the shelter’s details and direct contacts to support this very important cause.

Grazie a tutti!🫶

We are sorry for not posting much recently…

Honestly, we’ve had quite a challenging series of late check-ins and early check-outs that left us with just a couple of hours of sleep per night…⏰
Along with arrangements for some of our honeymooners💍and a few other adventures we helped our Guests with (see pic 4! 📸😅🚕) that kept us quite busy as well!

But then, you open 📖TBN’s Guest Book and all the fatigue just melts away…✨

You deserve every bit of effort and missed sleep, dear Nesters.❤️
Thank you for fueling our passion for hospitality every single day!🙏

Moka coffee set at the Nest❣️

Espresso ☕️ “macchiato”, which means adding a dash of milk to your black coffee.🥛

And you can ask for “caldo” 🔥 or “freddo” ❄️ depending on whether you want the milk to be hot or cold.

Stay with locals, learn from them.

👒Our beloved Basilica di Santa Maria in Trastevere…💒

Did you know that this beauty holds a historic record 🏆and hides a fascinating mystery🔮?

It is considered🥇the first church in Rome officially dedicated to the Virgin Mary,
and it was built right on the site of the miraculous ⛲️”fons olei”: a mysterious oil spring that gushed from the ground in ancient times, foretelling the birth of Christ!✨📜

📍But you already knew it is just a few steps away from your Nests in Rome, didn’t you?😉

📍Love the quiet allure of Piazza Trilussa in the early morning… 🏛️☕️

This is one of the most famous gathering places of Rome’s “Movida,” especially during the weekend and during these long summer nights…🌹🌙

But come here at dawn on a Monday, and you’ll see its true beauty.🌇❤️

When we founded our boutique-hospitality brand, “The Best Nest” was just the visionary project of two young daydreamers.💭

We didn’t even dare to imagine that one day we would collaborate with owners, CEOs, and professional agents from the most prestigious luxury travel brands in the world, like Marriott Bonvoy , Plum Guide , Oliver's Travels , and Virtuoso , among many other niche companies.

Of course, this success didn’t happen overnight.💫
People usually only see the tip of the iceberg, but it took us more than 11 years of hard work and sacrifice (including navigating a pandemic❗️) while competing with the meanest jackals of the rental markets and hotel lobbies in Rome.

However, thanks first of all to the constant support of our Nesters🫶, we have never given up on our dream.
Slowly, people started noticing the genuine Love we pour into welcoming every single Guest to our Nests, and professionals from the travel industry became interested in our philosophy…🪺💬🌐

One of them is DreamExoticRentals | Luxury Vacation Rentals
They recently entrusted us with the Roman holiday of their ✨VIP clients, Vanessa and Jack from Manhattan 🇺🇸, and we are thrilled to say they fell completely in love with our brand-new TBN Suite!

Grazie mille to the DER team for giving us the opportunity to show how much we care about every single Guest we welcome to Rome!🙏

📍At TBN, one size does NOT fit all.
Since 2015, we have worked hard to find the perfect fit for each and every one of our Nesters.❤️
