There is a moment in early summer when Val Gardena becomes something almost impossible to describe. The meadows fill with colour, the window boxes overflow, and even the quietest corners of Selva seem to be celebrating something.

Today, the Tyrol comes back to life in the heart of Val Gardena. Familiar voices return, the scent of wood and mountain air fills the spaces, and the Dolomites become the backdrop to a new season ready to be told.

A summer that will be especially meaningful for us. In the coming weeks, we will celebrate sixty years of Tyrol: sixty years of memories, people, stories of hospitality and moments shared together as a Family.

Summer is ready to bloom in Val Gardena. The woods are glowing in every shade of green, the Dolomites stand majestic under the June light, and the doors of the Tyrol are about to open to a new season.

Emanuele, together with all of us, waits at the threshold of a season that already feels alive: filled with long days outdoors, familiar faces, new memories and celebrations still waiting to be discovered together.

The preparations continue in Val Gardena. Tables set under the open sky, final touches on the terrace, the quiet rhythm of a team getting ready to welcome summer once again.

Very soon, long TyBistro lunches will return beneath the Dolomites, made of mountain light, fresh air and slow afternoons outdoors.

Summer is almost around the corner in the Dolomites. The terrace slowly comes back to life: cushions placed under the sun, flowers opening to the light, every detail finding its place once again at the foot of the Sassolungo.

Maurizio moves through these preparations like part of a familiar ritual, shaping the spaces that will soon welcome long afternoons, conversations and the golden light of summer evenings in Val Gardena.

Summer in Val Gardena is a feeling that stays with you far beyond the season itself. The endless green of the woods, the silence of the trails, the scent of pine trees carried by the wind through the Dolomites.

And then, at the end of the path, Home. The TyPool catching the last light of the afternoon, a table set for dinner at TyRestaurant, the quiet warmth of a room where the mountains are always there, just beyond the glass.

One week to go: summer is running towards us.

Towards slow afternoons stretched under the sun, skin warming by the pool, mountain air moving through the trees of Val Gardena. Towards the sound of water, a dive into the TyPool, the scent of nature, the quiet freedom of days beneath the Dolomites, with nowhere else to be.

A drink from the TyBar, light lingering longer every evening, and the feeling that time, somehow, begins to soften.

Summer is seven days away.

Sixty years.

How long is sixty years? It is a question worth sitting with, before answering.
Sixty years of seasons changing over the same mountains. Sixty winters where snow covered the same roof, sixty summers where the same meadows turned green beneath the Dolomites. Sixty years of doors opening, of familiar faces returning, of new ones becoming familiar.

It all began in 1966, when a young couple from Val Gardena decided to turn their love of hospitality into something real. Not a business. A Home. A place where people would arrive as guests and leave feeling like family.

Three generations. The same hands, different times. The same belief that a place is only as meaningful as the people who fill it, the ones who work here, the ones who return year after year, the ones who chose this valley to mark the moments that matter most in their lives.

This summer, from June 19 to 21, we will celebrate. A weekend of dinners, people and music to say thank you to everyone who has been part of this story.

A Home is nothing without the people who bring it to life.
