Charming hotel on Lake Garda — curated by generations, lived by guests.

The Hotel is surrounded by green gardens and centuries-old trees, on a stretch of shore about 200 metres long owned by our hotel. Our whole family is directly involved in running our hotel, from the strictly traditional specialities served in our restaurant to our chambermaid and laundry services, and from the reception desk to the bar, allowing us to offer exceptional standards of service.

Clara doesn’t need many words in the kitchen. She looks, tastes, adjusts, waits.

Some things are written in recipes. Others come from doing them for years, with the same attention every day.

For us, this is part of Garden Zorzi too: the quiet work behind a meal, the care you don’t always see, the familiar gestures that make a table feel welcoming.
And Clara has always had her own way of making people feel at home.

Not because they are complicated. But because they ask for attention, rhythm and care.
Sheets drying in the sun, the lake breeze moving them softly, hands folding them one by one. Simple everyday moments, but they have always meant something to us.
Because a room is not ready just when everything is in place.

It is ready when it already feels calm. At Garden Zorzi, hospitality begins here too. In everything we do before you arrive.

This is the time of year when the terrace starts to become one of our favourite places again.

The air is warmer, the days are longer, and aperitivo slowly finds its way back into the evening.

We prepare the glasses, set the tables, look at the lake for a moment, and wait for that hour when everything becomes softer.

A small ritual, but one we are always happy to bring back.

Some things make no noise, yet they change the whole atmosphere. Our garden is one of them. 🌿

Luca takes care of it every day, often while guests are still having breakfast or slowly returning from the beach.
He checks the plants, adjusts a vase, trims what no longer belongs there, and makes room for what is ready to grow.

It’s his passion, but over time it has also become an important part of who we are.
Maybe our way of welcoming guests begins with these simple things, too.

🇮🇹 Ci sono cose che non fanno rumore, ma cambiano l’atmosfera. Il nostro giardino è una di queste. 🌿

Luca se ne prende cura ogni giorno, spesso quando gli ospiti stanno ancora facendo colazione o rientrano piano dalla spiaggia. Controlla le piante, sistema un vaso, taglia quello che non serve più, lascia spazio a quello che deve crescere.

È una passione sua, ma nel tempo è diventata anche una parte importante di quello che siamo. Forse è anche da queste cose semplici che nasce il nostro modo di accogliervi.

Luca kümmert sich jeden Tag darum – oft, während die Gäste noch frühstücken oder langsam vom Strand zurückkommen.
Er kontrolliert die Pflanzen, richtet einen Topf, schneidet zurück, was nicht mehr gebraucht wird, und schafft Platz für Neues.

We always remember the first look from the room. 🩵

Marco accompanies each guest and makes sure everything is ready.
The room in perfect order, the right light, those little details that are part of the way we welcome people.

And then comes the best moment.
Opening the curtains, letting the light in, revealing the view.
Often, that’s all it takes: a brief silence, a glance towards the lake, a smile.

And that’s when we know the holiday has truly begun.

Marco accompagna gli ospiti e controlla che tutto sia pronto.
La stanza in ordine, la luce giusta, quei piccoli dettagli che fanno parte del nostro modo di accogliere.
Poi arriva il momento più bello.
Aprire le tende, lasciare entrare la luce, mostrare il panorama.

Spesso basta quello: un pi ccolo silenzio, uno sguardo verso il lago, un sorriso. E noi capiamo che la vacanza è iniziata davvero.

Marco begleitet die Gäste und prüft, ob alles bereit ist.
Das Zimmer ordentlich vorbereitet, das richtige Licht, all die kleinen Details, die zu unserer Art des Empfangens gehören.

Und dann kommt der schönste Moment.
Die Vorhänge öffnen, das Licht hereinlassen, den Ausblick zeigen.
Oft reicht genau das: ein kurzer Moment der Stille, ein Blick auf den See, ein Lächeln.

Und genau dann verstehen wir, dass der Urlaub wirklich begonnen hat.

Before the room fills up, Clara prepares the morning. 🥐

In the early hours, she moves between the tables while everything is still quiet.
She arranges the tablecloths, checks the details, and prepares the room with silent care.

Then, little by little, the rhythm changes.
The waiters arrive, the scent of croissants fills the air, the first coffees are served.
Someone chooses a table with a lake view, someone says good morning with sleep still in their eyes.

And by then, the morning is truly ready.

🇮🇹 Prima che la sala si riempia, Clara prepara il buongiorno. 🥐

La mattina passa tra i tavoli quando è ancora tutto tranquillo. Sistema le tovaglie, controlla i dettagli, prepara la sala con cura silenziosa.
Poi, piano piano, cambia il ritmo. Arrivano i camerieri, il profumo delle brioches, i primi caffè. Qualcuno sceglie un tavolo vista lago, qualcuno saluta con ancora un po’ di sonno negli occhi.
E il buongiorno, a quel punto, è pronto davvero.

Am frühen Morgen geht sie zwischen den Tischen umher, wenn noch alles ruhig ist.
Sie richtet die Tischdecken, prüft die Details und bereitet den Raum mit stiller Sorgfalt vor.

Dann verändert sich langsam der Rhythmus.
Die Kellner kommen, der Duft von Croissants liegt in der Luft, die ersten Kaffees werden serviert.
Jemand wählt einen Tisch mit Seeblick, jemand grüßt noch mit ein wenig Schlaf in den Augen.

Und genau dann ist der Morgen wirklich bereit.

At Garden Zorzi, this is what April sounds like.
The soft breeze coming from the lake, the morning coffee being poured, footsteps in the garden, water gently touching the shore.

We’ve just reopened, and with the new season come back those moments that may seem small, but are the ones that stay with you the longest.

Quello del vento leggero che arriva dal lago, del caffè versato al mattino, dei passi nel giardino, dell’acqua che bagna la spiaggia.

Abbiamo riaperto da poco, e con la nuova stagione tornano anche quei momenti che sembrano piccoli, ma che poi sono quelli che restano di più.

April is one of our favourite times to experience Lake Garda.

A walk through Salò, a few hours on the golf course, a boat ride, or simply an afternoon spent watching the lake.
Sometimes, simple things are all you need to feel exactly where you’re meant to be.

🇮🇹 Aprile è uno dei momenti che preferiamo per vivere il Lago di Garda.

C’è una luce diversa, le temperature sono miti e ogni giornata sembra invitare a fare qualcosa di bello, ma senza fretta.

Una passeggiata a Salò, qualche ora a giocare a golf, un giro in barca, un pomeriggio passato semplicemente a guardare il lago. A volte bastano cose semplici per sentirsi davvero nel posto giusto.

Have you already seen our wisteria in bloom? 🌸

With the sun gently warming your skin again,
the mild air inviting you to stay outside just a little longer,
and that soft lake breeze that makes you pause, breathe, and enjoy the moment.

And then there are the colours.
The ones that seemed to fade during winter,
now returning day by day—with all their beauty.

And in the end, April is just that:
the month when everything comes back to life. 🩵

🇮🇹 Hai già visto il nostro glicine in fiore? 🌸

Con il sole che torna a scaldare piano la pelle, l’aria mite che invita a stare fuori un po’ di più e quel vento leggero del lago che ti fa fermare, respirare e goderti il momento.

E poi ci sono i colori. Quelli che durante l’inverno sembravano essersi messi in pausa e che adesso, giorno dopo giorno, tornano davanti agli occhi con tutta la loro bellezza.
E in fondo aprile è anche questo: il mese in cui tutto riprende vita 🩵

Die Sonne wärmt wieder sanft die Haut,
die milde Luft lädt dazu ein, etwas länger draußen zu bleiben,
und dieser leichte Wind vom See bringt dich dazu, innezuhalten, zu atmen und den Moment zu genießen.

Und dann sind da die Farben.
Die, die im Winter fast verschwunden schienen
und jetzt Tag für Tag zurückkehren – in ihrer ganzen Schönheit.

Und eigentlich ist genau das der April:
der Monat, in dem alles wieder zum Leben erwacht. 🩵
