Ogni dettaglio del Grand Hotel La Favorita custodisce una storia.
Quella del pavimento che impreziosisce la nostra hall nasce da un momento di pura ispirazione.
Durante la costruzione del Grand Hotel La Favorita, il Signor Enzo Manniello, passando davanti alla Chiesa di San Paolo, adiacente all’hotel, si fermò ad ammirare l’antico pavimento che ne decorava gli interni.
Affascinato dalla bellezza di quel pavimento, dai suoi colori e dai raffinati decori, decise di farne realizzare una riproduzione quasi fedele per la hall dell’hotel, portando così al suo interno un piccolo frammento del patrimonio artistico custodito nelle antiche chiese di Sorrento.
Un’intuizione nata in un istante, diventata nel tempo uno degli elementi più rappresentativi della nostra struttura.

The story behind the floor that graces our lobby began with a simple moment of inspiration.
During the construction of Grand Hotel La Favorita, Mr. Enzo Manniello was walking past the Church of San Paolo, located right next to the hotel, when he stopped to admire the beautiful antique flooring inside.
Captivated by its beauty, colours, and intricate patterns, he decided to commission an almost exact replica for the hotel’s lobby, bringing a small piece of the artistic heritage preserved within Sorrento’s historic churches into La Favorita.
A fleeting moment of inspiration that, over time, became one of the most distinctive features of our hotel.
