周辺は雪も溶けきって、これから倶知安や羊蹄山周辺はグリーンシーズン。この時期はまだまだ山頂に残雪があるけれど、6月下旬には登山が出来そうです。
芝桜も今年はもう見頃です。
天気が良いと沿道を歩いて芝桜を見に行く観光客も多いです。毎年この月末は宿先でイベントも開催します。
庭の雑草が早くも生い茂っていたので、本日は草刈り日。

The snow has finally melted around here, and green season is just beginning in Kutchan and around Mt. Yotei! 🌱 There’s still some snow left on the summit, but it looks like hiking will be possible by late June.
The moss phlox (shibazakura) is already at its best this year, too. On sunny days, lots of visitors come strolling along the roadside to see the flowers. And as always, we’ll be hosting an event here at the guesthouse at the end of the month!
The weeds in the garden have grown in fast, so today is grass-cutting day. ✂️
