Launching in 2015/2016, "First Tracks at Cortina / Norikura" is a great new Japan powder experience: a lodge right on the slopes between Norikura and Cortina, giving our guests prime access to the first runs of the day at the two resorts that get the most snow and have the best tree runs in Hakuba. Cortina and Norikura are a good half hour drive from the centre of town, so a lot of visitors miss o

ut on this special experience. Our new lodge means you don't have to miss out anymore! (It's also right by the beginner slopes, so if you've got a mixed ability group, it's perfect for everyone). The lodge is in the process of being renovated for the season right now - so no pics - but we intend to keep as much of the charm of the original ryokan-style lodging as possible, so you get an authentic Japan stay, at a reasonable price. Plus access to amazing powder! Did we mention that?
