本日ご紹介させていただくのは
ホテル花小路から歩いて約4分ほど、
ちょうどホテルの裏手にあたる
やすらぎの道沿いから
細い路地を入った奥にある
《蕎麦酒場 たかま家》
蕎麦酒場　たかま家 さんです😊

店内は外から見るよりも広く、
ゆっくり食事を楽しめる
落ち着いた雰囲気のあるお店です😊
この日はお昼にお邪魔しましたので
“たかま家の蕎麦定食”をお願いしました♪

この日の定食の内容は
ハマチのお刺身にかま焼き、バイ貝の煮物、
そしてとうもろこしご飯でした♪

まだまだ暑い季節ですので
蕎麦は“ざる”を選び、
冷たいコシのあるお蕎麦をツルっと
美味しくいただきました😋
そして最後は蕎麦湯でほっとひと息♪
最後まで美味しくいただきました😊

お蕎麦はもちろん、天ぷらやお刺身、
焼き物などのお料理も楽しめる
「たかま家」さん。
日本酒や焼酎などのお酒も揃い、
夜はお酒とともに
ゆっくり味わうのもおすすめです😊

Today, we’d like to introduce Soba Sakaba Takamaya
蕎麦酒場　たかま家 😊

Located about a 4-minute walk from Hotel Hanakomichi,
Takamaya is tucked away down a narrow alley just behind the hotel.

The restaurant has a calm and relaxing atmosphere.
We visited for lunch and ordered the Takamaya Soba Set Meal, which included yellowtail sashimi, grilled fish collar, simmered whelk, and corn rice♪

Since it’s still hot outside, we chose cold zaru soba.
The chilled, firm-textured soba was delicious 😋
We finished our meal with some comforting sobayu (soba cooking water) 😊

Takamaya also offers tempura, sashimi, grilled dishes, sake, shochu, and more, making it a great place to enjoy a relaxing evening with a drink 😊

It’s also close to Kintetsu Nara Station, so why not stop by and give it a try?

本日はホテル花小路から徒歩約4分。
三条通りとやすらぎの道が交わる角、
階段を上がった2階にある食堂
《華鹿 -KAROKU- 》
【華鹿 -KAROKU-】　奈良ランチ/奈良グルメ さんをご紹介😊

店内にはテーブル席とカウンター席のほか、
靴を脱いでゆったりくつろげる椅子席も。
大きな窓からは三条通りを
JR奈良駅方面まで見渡すことができます。

こちらのお店では
チキン南蛮が人気とのことで、
この日は
“ピーマンの肉詰め＆チキン南蛮定食”を
お願いしました♪

たっぷりのタルタルソースがかかった
チキン南蛮は、鶏肉がジューシーで
食べ応えも十分！
タルタルソースをたっぷり絡めていただくと
とても美味しかったです😋

そして、実は食べたかった
ピーマンの肉詰め🫑
外食では意外と目にすることが少なく、
どこか懐かしさも感じる味わいで
美味しくいただきました😊
さらに豚汁もついて、
お腹いっぱい大満足のランチになりました♪

ほかにも手作りハンバーグやカレー、
豚の生姜焼きなどの定食があり、
奈良の地酒も楽しめます🍶
日によっては夜も営業されており、
夜も定食をいただくことができます♪

美味しい定食でお腹を満たしに、

Today, we’re introducing KAROKU (【華鹿 -KAROKU-】　奈良ランチ/奈良グルメ), a restaurant located about a 4-minute walk from Hotel Hanakomichi.

Located on the second floor near the intersection of Sanjo-dori Street and Yasuragi-no-michi Street, the restaurant offers a relaxing atmosphere with a nice view along Sanjo-dori toward JR Nara Station.

We ordered the Stuffed Green Pepper & Chicken Nanban Set Meal♪

The Chicken Nanban was juicy and delicious, topped with plenty of creamy tartar sauce 😋
The stuffed green pepper 🫑 had a comforting, nostalgic taste, and the set also came with tonjiru (pork and vegetable miso soup), making it a very satisfying lunch!

Other dishes include homemade hamburg steak, curry, and ginger pork. You can also enjoy local sake from Nara 🍶
On selected days, the restaurant is also open for dinner, with set meals available in the evening as well.

本日ご紹介させていただくのは、
生駒山上遊園地さんへ行く前に
お邪魔しました
《Ikoma honey&cafe》
Ikoma honey &cafe さんです！

近鉄生駒駅南口から歩いて3分ほど。
奈良県産のハチミツの量り売りや、
スコーンやハニーチーズトースト、
ハニーソフトなどが人気のお店です😊

ぜひハニーチーズトーストを
食べたかったのですが、
残念ながら夏の間はお休みでした。
お昼前でしたのでこの日は、
1日10食限定の“季節のキッシュ”、
スコーンは期間限定の
“ハチミツれもんのキャラメリゼ”、
ドリンクはアイスのアメリカーノに
ハチミツ追加をお願いしました😋

キッシュのプレートは、
サラダはもちろんツナのキッシュにも
新鮮な夏野菜がたっぷり！
とても美味しかったです😋
スコーンも上にトッピングされた
キャラメリゼと一緒に頬張ると、
レモンとハチミツの風味がよく合い、
アイスのアメリカーノとの相性も
ぴったりでした♪

生駒山上遊園地に
遊びに行かれる際や、
近鉄生駒駅を降りられた時など、

Today, we’d like to introduce Ikoma honey&cafe
Ikoma honey &cafe, which we visited before heading to Ikoma Sanjo Amusement Park!

The café is about a 3-minute walk from the south exit of Kintetsu Ikoma Station.
They offer Nara-produced honey sold by weight, as well as popular treats such as scones, honey cheese toast, and honey soft-serve ice cream. 😊

We really wanted to try the honey cheese toast, but unfortunately, it is not available during the summer.
Since we visited just before lunchtime, we ordered the Seasonal Quiche, limited to only 10 servings a day, a limited-time Caramelized Honey Lemon Scone, and an iced Americano with honey. 😋

The quiche plate was filled with fresh summer vegetables, both in the salad and in the tuna quiche. It was absolutely delicious! 😋
The scone was also wonderful—the caramelized topping brought out the flavors of lemon and honey beautifully, and it paired perfectly with the iced Americano.♪

If you’re planning a trip to Ikoma Sanjo Amusement Park or happen to be around Kintetsu Ikoma Station, why not stop by and check it out?

“生駒山上遊園地”は奈良県生駒市と
大阪府東大阪市にまたがる
生駒山の山上にある遊園地です😊

ホテル花小路からは
近鉄奈良駅から生駒駅まで約20分。
生駒駅で生駒ケーブルへ乗り換え、
鳥居前駅から生駒山上駅まで約16分です。

可愛いキャラクターがデザインされた
生駒ケーブルは小さなお子様にも大人気♪
途中ですれ違う車両にも注目です😊

8月の平日はサマータイム営業で
お昼12:00〜夜9:00まで営業されています。
私が訪れた日はお盆休み明けだったこともあり
ゆっくり園内を周ることができました😊

この生駒山上遊園地には
日本最古と言われている
大型遊具《飛行塔》があります😊
開園当時の1929年から90年以上現役で、
今も多くのお客様を楽しませています♪

高さ約20mからは
大阪平野や奈良・京都方面も
一望できますよ😊

ほかにも、上からの景色が楽しめる
可愛い“ぷかぷかパンダ”や
自分で漕いで進む“サイクル・モノレール”も♪
大阪平野の上をまるで浮いてるかのような
景色も楽しめ夜景も素晴らしいそうです！
可愛いフォトスポットもありますよ😊

流行りの絶叫アトラクションとは違う
どこか懐かしさを感じる、
小さなお子様と一緒に楽しめる
アトラクションも多く
ご家族で訪れるのにぴったりです♪

Hello! Today we’re introducing Ikoma Sanjo Amusement Park 生駒山上遊園地 😊

From Hotel Hanakomichi, take the Kintetsu Railway from Kintetsu-Nara Station to Ikoma Station (about 20 min.), then transfer to the Ikoma Cable Line for a fun ride up the mountain♪

One of the park’s highlights is the Flying Tower, said to be Japan’s oldest large-scale amusement ride. It has been operating since the park opened in 1929! From about 20 meters high, you can enjoy panoramic views of the Osaka Plain and toward Nara and Kyoto😊

The park also has many nostalgic attractions, including the cute Puka Puka Panda and the pedal-powered Cycle Monorail, as well as lovely photo spots♪

With plenty of attractions for young children, it’s a great place for a family day out. Enjoy the beautiful scenery and make some wonderful memories together😊

厚焼き玉子サンドが人気のお店
《PAPA〜N》
PAPA〜N‼︎｜奈良・西木辻｜ふわふわ極厚玉子サンドが名物！ さんです😊

この日は可愛いメロンソーダフロートと
お店の方オススメの
“厚玉カツサンド”カレータルタルソースを
いただきました😋

ボリュームたっぷりの厚焼き玉子に
サクサクの衣と
カレータルタルソースがよく合い、
とても美味しかったです😋

お店の方によると、
厚焼き玉子をカツにしたサンドイッチは
こちらならではのメニューだそうです♪
また衣には、
サンドイッチに使用してるパンの耳を
パン粉にして使っているそうです♪

カレーやフレンチトーストも
人気メニューだそうですので、

Today we’d like to introduce PAPA〜N
PAPA〜N‼︎｜奈良・西木辻｜ふわふわ極厚玉子サンドが名物！, a sandwich shop located along Yasuragi-no-Michi, about a 15-minute walk from Hotel Hanakomichi.

We tried their recommended Atsutama Katsu Sandwich with Curry Tartar Sauce, along with a cute melon soda float 😋

The thick Japanese-style omelet is coated in a crispy crust and goes perfectly with the curry tartar sauce!
According to the owner, their katsu-style omelet sandwich is a unique specialty of PAPA〜N♪
The coating is even made from leftover bread crusts from their sandwiches 😊

Curry and French toast are also popular, so we’d love to come back and try them next time!

With its cute turquoise exterior and counter, PAPA〜N has a bright and welcoming atmosphere. The friendly owner makes this cozy counter-only shop a comfortable place even for first-time visitors♪

お店の営業が不定期なこともあり
タイミングがなかなか合わなかったのですが
たまたま前を通ったところ
オープンされてましたので
さっそくお邪魔しました😊

店内はカウンター席のみで、
木の温もりを感じる可愛らしい空間です😊
雑貨の販売も少しされています。

この日は定番人気の
“塩バター”のクレープと
アイスカフェラテをお願いしました♪

シンプルなメニューですが
もちもちした生地と
バターの塩気とほんのりした甘さが癖になる
とても美味しいクレープでした😋

Today, we’d like to introduce fajii
fajii, a crepe and coffee shop located in the Hanashiba Shopping Street, about a 5-minute walk from Hotel Hanakomichi and just north of Kintetsu Nara Station 😊

Because the shop is open on an irregular schedule, it can be a little difficult to catch the right timing.
But when we happened to pass by, it was open, so we decided to stop in 😊

The shop has only counter seating and a cute, cozy interior with the warmth of wood.
They also sell a small selection of miscellaneous goods.

This time, we ordered their popular salted butter crepe and an iced café latte♪

The menu is simple, but the chewy crepe, the slight saltiness of the butter, and the gentle sweetness make it incredibly addictive.
It was absolutely delicious 😋

If you’re exploring the Kitamachi area, why not stop by for a tasty crepe and a cup of coffee?♪

店頭では格子の間から
白くて可愛いコがこんにちは😊
店内はコンパクトながらも
たくさんの吹きガラスによる
作品が並んでいます✨

日常使いにしたいグラスや
和菓子にぴったりなお皿、
喫茶店で出てきそうなパフェグラス
緑に映える風鈴や
干支の可愛いオブジェなど😊

また色の着いたガラスの棒を
何本も組み合わせてできた模様の
グラス作品などは
まるで編み上げたレースのようで
とても綺麗です✨
可愛いガラス小物もいろいろあり
私はコーヒー豆の箸置きと
ペーパーウェイトが気になりました😊

Today, we’d like to introduce glass works chikako kiyoi
, located about a 5-minute walk from Hotel Hanakomichi 😊

This atelier gallery showcases and sells handmade blown-glass works by glass artist Chikako Kiyoi.

At the entrance, a cute white figure welcomes visitors, and inside you’ll find many beautiful glass pieces ✨

There are everyday glasses, plates perfect for Japanese sweets, parfait glasses, wind chimes, zodiac ornaments, and other charming items 😊

Some pieces feature delicate patterns created by combining colored glass rods, giving them a beautiful, lace-like appearance.
I especially liked the coffee-bean-shaped chopstick rests and the paperweights.

Each piece is handmade, so you may find one that feels just right for you♪

《なら燈花会》が始まりました😊

期間は2026年8月5日（水）から
8月14日（金）までの10日間、

いくつものロウソクの灯りが奈良公園を彩る、
奈良の夏を代表する美しいイベントで、
燈花会を楽しみにご宿泊される

燈花会へ向かわれるお客様に、

The Nara Tokae Festival began yesterday throughout Nara Park. 😊

The festival will be held for 10 days,
from August 5 (Wed.) to August 14 (Fri.), 2026,
from 7:00 PM to 9:30 PM each evening. ✨

With thousands of candlelights illuminating Nara Park,
the Nara Tokae Festival is one of the most beautiful summer events in Nara.

Many of our guests stay with us especially to enjoy this wonderful event. 😊

To help create a welcoming atmosphere for guests walking from Kintetsu Nara Station through Konishi Sakura Street on their way to the festival, we have added a special evening illumination around the deer statue at the entrance of Hotel Hanakomichi. 🦌✨

The lights are on daily from approximately 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM.
