今回は初めて、焼岳を越えて上高地へ。
少しずつ秋の気配を感じる山歩きでした。

Headed to Mt. Yake-dake, where the autumn colors have already started to appear here and there 🍁

This time, for the first time, I crossed Mt. Yake-dake and made my way to Kamikochi.

It was a beautiful hike, with little signs of autumn beginning to appear in the mountains.

For September, October, and November, we now have only a few rooms left.

Harvesting honey from our Japanese honey bees. 🐝

Through the scorching summer days,
and even on days of strong wind and rain,
these tiny bees have worked so hard,
gathering this precious honey.

They are truly adorable and precious little creatures.

Of course, they are not working for us humans.
They are simply living their own lives,
doing what they have always done.

And yet, we humans have received so much from them.

Pesticides, changes in the environment,
and global warming are making life harder for bees.

I hope we can create an environment
where these little creatures can live a little more safely and comfortably.

ニホンミツバチの採蜜。

真夏の暑い日も、雨風の強い日も、
小さな身体で一生懸命に集めてくれた、貴重な蜜。

本当に可愛くて、尊い存在です。

もちろん、ミツバチたちは
人間のために働いているわけではありません。

それでも私たち人間は、
昔からたくさんの恩恵を受けています。

農薬や環境の変化、
そして地球温暖化によって、
ミツバチたちの暮らす環境も少しずつ変わっています。

これからも、この小さな命が
安心して暮らせる環境が残っていきますように。

少しでもミツバチにとって
住みやすい場所をつくれたらと思います。🙏🐝

We successfully helped our bees survive their first winter,
and this time, we also witnessed our very first swarm.

I’ve wanted to grow our bee colony for years,
so this dream finally came true after a long journey.

Honeybees work so diligently and devotedly — they are truly adorable.

初めての越冬に成功し、
今回は初めての分蜂も。
ミツバチを増やしたいという想いから、
数年越しで夢が叶いました。
健気に働き続けるミツバチは本当にかわいい。
