Together with MataTour, our house guests got to step out, hop into a matatu and see the city through a different lens, learning a little more about it’s history, its streets, its culture and of course, the wonderful colourful way we move around😉

From the stories behind familiar places to the energy that makes Nairobi feel unmistakably Nairobi, it was a lovely reminder that sometimes the best way to know a city is to simply get out there and experience it.

A little history, a little adventure, plenty of character and a whole lot of Nairobi!🚌✨

Then came the night. 🌙✨... when the sun went down, the energy only went up.

The rooftop came alive with heavy hip-hop anthems, pop classics, smooth alt-R&B, big sing-alongs, and a crowd that knew every word.

2011–2015 really had a way of making nights like these unforgettable. 🥂

Rose is deaf and communicates largely through gesture and expression, but what truly stands out is her confidence, warmth and remarkable attention to detail.
