WARMTH OF HOME Midland Hotel is an integral part of Nakuru whose history goes all the way back to the 1900s.

In the early days only 1st class railway passengers were taken-in. Then it was called Nakuru Railway Hotel before becoming Midland Hotel in 1957. Famous personalities like the Queen Mother have been guests here. Today it is a cosmopolitan 3.5 star hotel retaining its old charm in modern setting but upholding the highest standards true to its tradition. The Midland Hotel has witnessed two World Wars, Kenya’s independence, the departure of the settler community and much more. Still, we remain a much-loved meeting place where friends come to rest, connect, and enjoy ‘le joie de vivre’. Set on two acres in the heart of Nakuru Town just off the Trans-African Highway, this facility is beautifully located for tourists, corporate clientele as well as individual travellers. All major banks and main streets are a stone's throw away. Midland is the hub of the town and a reference point in Nakuru which itself is minutes away from Kenya’s most popular National Park at Lake Nakuru. Nearly every major town and several attractions in western Kenya are within short reach of Nakuru. This makes Midland Hotel an excellent stopping point for those planning onward journeys. The hotel is a mere two hours drive from the nation's capital Nairobi on 160 kilometers of a good road.
