At the front of Maa Guest House, we have a watering hole. When the weather is dry, this becomes a hub for local wildlife.
We recently had a visit from a herd of elephants who stopped for a long drink, including a very cute youngster who was less interested in drinking and far more interested in playing on the muddy bank!

Many of us have seen the images: seemingly endless lines of wildebeest and zebra moving across the plains, or the dramatic and sometimes perilous river crossings. But seeing the Great Migration in real life is something else entirely.
Maa Guest House is just a short drive from the reserve, making it easy to head out for the day and experience one of nature’s greatest spectacles for yourself.
