At Mövenpick Hotel & Resort Al Bida’a Kuwait and ARGAN Albida’a Hotel & Resort, under the umbrella of Accor and Argana Resorts & Hotels, we were honored to host our annual World Refugee Day event in collaboration with UNHCR, bringing together colleagues and team members to promote understanding, inclusion, and hope.
The event was welcomed by our HR Director, Esraa Al Samad, followed by inspiring opening remarks from our Cluster General Manager, Michael Jabbour, who emphasized the importance of compassion, unity, and creating opportunities for those forced to flee their homes.
The program featured opening remarks and a presentation on global refugee trends by Eiman Al Einawi, an engaging interactive activity led by Sanaa Al Habshi, and a World Refugee Day presentation delivered by Fawaz Al Khalidi. The event concluded with an interactive Q&A session, encouraging meaningful dialogue and reflection among participants.
As this year’s theme reminds us, “Until Everyone Is Safe.” Together, we reaffirm our commitment to fostering dignity, inclusion, and opportunity for all.
