Konglor Cave, carved by the Hinboun River over millions of years, has always been more than a natural wonder. For generations, it served as a hidden passage, a lifeline for local communities, and a silent witness to history during times of war and peace. Boats, not roads, were once the only way to move through this landscape.

Today, travelers ride the Thakhek Loop to rediscover this heritage — winding through limestone mountains, rural villages, and sacred caves. At the heart of this journey lies the river itself.

SpringRiver Resort was created to honor this connection. Built along the riverbanks near Konglor, the resort embraces the same natural rhythm that once guided villagers, traders, and explorers. From here, guests can experience Konglor Cave the traditional way — by boat — passing through conservation forests, blue lagoons, and quiet riverside life that has remained unchanged for decades.
