Located in Ban Meuna, just a short walk from the historic centre (15 min walk) and close to the Nam Khan, Villa Maydou is made up of five buildings surrounding a peaceful tropical garden.

Two of these are historic houses dating back to 1924 and 1936, recognised as part of Luang Prabang’s UNESCO World Heritage site.

Their traditional wooden structures, original architectural details and distinctive character reflect the history and craftsmanship of old Luang Prabang.

The other buildings were designed in close collaboration with the Maison du Patrimoine, respecting the traditional architecture and spirit of the neighbourhood while providing the comfort of a boutique hotel.

Here, history is not something you simply visit. It is part of the place where you stay.

Step outside the garden and you are just a short walk from the temples, old streets and local life of Luang Prabang, while Ban Meuna offers a quieter atmosphere away from the bustle of the town centre.
