Charming little hotel recently renovated by a Marion and Ruddy, a french couple living in Luang Prabang since a few years. After years of working in 3 and 4 stars hotel, we wanted to create our own version of "hospitality". A blend of simple designed details, warmth and professionalism. You will find rooms with rustic modern design furnitures, and artworks locally made with Passapaa Studio. All the balcony rooms have a partial view on the Namkahn river.

The Festival of Lights (Lai Heua Fai) is approching. This year it will take place from 6 to 11 October and will illuminate our beautiful city. The sacred places and houses will be illuminated with lanterns and we will be able to watch the magnificent parade of nagas made by the different districts of Luang Prabang before they are released on the Mekong.

Enjoy the festivities at Coldriver. We are located just 5 minutes from the city center and within walking distance of the most beautiful temples.
