The Round House was envisioned as a tribute to Sri Lanka’s rich natural resources. We chose a palette of locally sourced woods such as Hora, Jak, Teak, Kumbuk, Lunumidella, and Eucalyptus to minimize our footprint and support local ecosystems.

In addition, the architecture of The Round House was created to invite the outside in, an immersion between the built environment and the wild landscape around us.
