All OTP hotel rooms have been laid out as flexible spaces with generous balconies and terraces overlooking the wild and the wonderful Indian Ocean. Every detail is lovingly restored and crafted by hand.
The place is tranquil, but social too. The Runcible Spoon is a little restaurant, on an elegant dining terrace with superb wines and fresh food - including Sri Lankan specialities-. Our flamboyant pastry chef will see to it that you have sweet dreams. At our vibrant beach shack, you can enjoy delicately spiced cocktails next to the waves, tropical birdsongs from the trees and live jazz on weekends. This space can also be booked for private or special events. We also have a seaside bar and a café. There is a beautifully decorated, elegant "Edward Lear Drawing room" for hotel guests only and is perfect for relaxing and enjoying a pre-dinner cocktail or after-dinner drink. We have a small fitness room and a library with a TV. Our caring staff will arrange cars, airport transfers and local sight-seeings, looking after you to make your trip super special. The main highlight in our garden is a fabulous, turquoise 18m swimming pool that spills onto the ocean. In addition, a therapy hut offers no-frills seaside massages. A yoga platform for early sun salutes converts in the evenings to an outdoor living space with sofas and candles. When needed, this space morphs into a wonderful dance floor…
