For the past 1.5 years, camera traps around Hatton have offered glimpses of the leopards that share this landscape with us. More than 100 videos have helped us identify seven individuals, giving us a closer look at how they move through the spaces around us.

What we’re beginning to see is a quiet coexistence, leopards moving through the same landscape as people, often without ever knowing one another is there.

Every sighting adds to our understanding of these elusive neighbours: where they move, how they use the landscape, and how they live alongside us. The more we learn about them, the better we can understand their needs and protect their place within this shared landscape.
