They said it was too far gone. But beneath the decay, we saw whispers of old-world elegance waiting to breathe again. We didn't erase the past — we just let it shine through. Dilapidated no more. Charm? Never left. Vision? Accomplished.

The village exhaled. Not a sigh of relief, but the careful, deliberate breath of a body remembering how to live.

Slowly, as if afraid to startle the dawn - the windows opened, a thread of smoke and then another. One by one, the small sounds returned - a spoon against a clay pot, a door unlatching, and the kids at play.. we are still here and we shall rise.
