Wow! Surprisingly wonderful
Midky Hotel is located on the Kandy-Nuwaraeliya main road just about 2-3kms before the Nuwaraeliya town. The hotel has just about 8 rooms and is a very small property. The first look at the hotel and we were really worried as to how our stay here would be. But to our surprise we really enjoyed our 2
nights stay here. The rooms were excellent. Big, spacious, clean and a beautiful mountain view from the full sized fixed glass window put on one side instead of wall. The furnishings and interiors of the room are really beautiful. The room has all basic amenities. There was a common sit out/dining place between two rooms on second floor where we stayed. As we had booked two rooms we really enjoyed having dinner in this dining area. We were indeed worried about the safety as the property is small but believe me there were no issues at all. The caretaker of the property was very hospitable and took care of everything. Starting from the Check-in till the Check-out he made sure everything fell in place. As we had requested for pure veg food he arranged to make Pure veg breakfast by himself and assured us that everything was fresh and pure veg. Indeed we were delighted and had a very filling breakfast. The staff is very helpful and available immediately on call. We checked out at 5am and the staff was already up to help us with the luggage. Within 10mins we were in our car to bid adieu to a fantastic hotel and memorable stay. Definitely recommended to all. Show less
Room Tip: Deluxe rooms with mountain view on 2nd floor were really romantic
