*SEARCHING FOR SRI LANKAN ADOPTEE IN SWEDEN*

We are searching for a Sri Lankan woman adopted to Sweden.

Her biological mother is Modara Kankanamge Seelawathi (70)from Galkissa, Mt. Lavinia, Colombo.

Her srilankan brother
Name pushps kumara he has two sons
He is living Galkissa Mount Lavinia

Her srilanka sister name Shamali Indika she has two children
She is living in Galle

She has a biological sister, Dutch name Tessa, srilankan name Sanika who was adopted to the Netherlands. Tessa recently found her bio mother, and learned she has another sister adopted to Sweden.

Tessa personally believes they were born as twins and were adopted separately.
Tessa thinks that there was a change

The sister from Sweden visited her bio mother in Sri Lanka a few times in the past, then contact was lost. We know she worked in a studio.

With her permission and on behalf of the Amma, I am sharing this post to support her search for the child from whom she was separated in connection with an intercountry adoption.

She does not know the name under which her child was registered or raised after the separation and adoption. The child was born around the year 19…

Gender of the child: female name. As she remember her name can be Wasana
Age around 38 or 40 this can be also different
Was born at Horana Hospital

Name of the Amma: Guneththi kusumawathi Silva
Date of birth of the Amma: she is 65 years old now
District where she currently lives: Kalutara (galapatha)

Please keep in mind that the Amma’s current place of residence may not correspond with the locations recorded in adoption documents or other official records.

Names may also have been recorded or spelled differently due to translation, transliteration, unfamiliarity with local names, or inaccuracies in documentation. Dates, places and other details may differ as well. For this reason, information does not necessarily need to be an exact match to be relevant.
