Two legends, two schools... and the place where our story began. 💙✨
​In the history of Chefchaouen, two figures named 'Moulay Ali' shaped the identity of our city:
🛡️ Moulay Ali Ben Rachid – the courageous founder who built the city in 1471.
🕊️ Moulay Ali Nawazli – the beloved spiritual guardian of Chefchaouen.
​Right here in my old neighborhood, two primary schools bearing their names stand side-by-side. But to me, these walls hold an even deeper meaning... This is where we grew up and went to school until the age of 7, running through these streets with a backpack and big dreams for the future. The very neighborhood where I learned my first lessons would become the place where we now welcome travelers from all around the world at Maison Bousaid.
