We have always had a special connection with Mexico.
It inspired the iconic yellow walls of Jane Tamsna.
Our owners first met there decades ago, and we have always felt a deep affinity between these two cultures.
Even what is often referred to as “Spanish Colonial” architecture owes much to Andalusia, itself entirely shaped by centuries of Moroccan influence.
For all these reasons, we are particularly delighted to welcome a talented Mexican chef for a series of delicious pop-up events at Jnane Tamsna.
Mexico City native, co-founder and chef-patron of Santo Remedio, the renowned London-based Mexican restaurant group known for its authentic flavors and immaculate vibes, is the author of Ciudad de México: Recipes and Stories from the Heart of Mexico City.
We are thrilled to welcome Edson for a special pop up at Jnane Tamsna, where we proudly cultivate a lot of Mexican produce.
We can’t wait to see him work his magic with our land’s current bounty, which includes tomatillos, chili peppers, tomatoes and courgette flowers to name but a few.
A celebration of flavors, friendship, and the enduring dialogue between two cultures that have always felt surprisingly close.
