Ferme Kilomètre 14, a house we called home for several years.

Still partly unfinished when we arrived, we completed it as a family home, working across the interiors and the landscape, from the kitchen and a large built-in library to the bedrooms, bathrooms and outdoor spaces.

The idea was simple: a house made for everyday life, with nature always close and an almost invisible boundary between inside and out.

Ferme Kilomètre 14 was featured in several publications, including Architectural Digest Germany ,where it made the cover, and IDEAT & Vogue Arabia

South of Morocco.

There is something about the landscapes of the South that keeps drawing us back. Earthen houses, centuries-old kasbahs, villages built from the very soil they stand on, and places where architecture still feels inseparable from the landscape.

A Morocco that remains raw, quiet and remarkably preserved. The kind of places we never tire of travelling through, observing and photographing.

This summer, we took some time in France to slow down, travel, and spend our days between places we love and exhibitions we wanted to see.

One of those stops took us to Nice, to the Musée Matisse, for Henri Matisse – Yves Saint Laurent: Beauty, Fashion and Happiness.

What connects Matisse and Saint Laurent goes far beyond colour.

Both created from the worlds they built around themselves: fabrics, objects, books, artworks, memories brought back from travels. Their homes and studios became living archives, places to collect, observe and imagine.

Matisse called his collection of textiles his “working library.” Saint Laurent described the artistic references that surrounded him as his “aesthetic ghosts.”

Different disciplines, different generations, but the same instinct: to look at everything, absorb everything, and transform it into a language of their own.
