For World Ocean Day, we celebrate the extraordinary marine world that surrounds us and the responsibility to protect it for generations to come.

Just 15 minutes from Milaidhoo, Hanifaru Bay becomes one of the world’s most remarkable marine encounters from May to November. Manta rays gather here in their hundreds, drawn by the plankton-rich currents of Baa Atoll. Some reach wingspans of over seven metres, moving through the water with a quiet grace that leaves a lasting impression on everyone who witnesses them.
