Meet Kin ✨ Kin Cuevass

This retreat season, we’re excited to welcome Chef Kin into the Mahai kitchen, where he’ll be sharing his cooking with guests at some of our upcoming retreats.

For Kin, cooking is a kind of alchemy — a place where vegetables, fruits, oils, herbs and spices become a way to create, explore and express. The kitchen awakens the artist in him.

But what matters most to Kin is what happens when that food reaches someone else.

He believes food can nourish far beyond the body — that thoughtfully prepared, healthy food can bring happiness, strength, energy and a sense of wellbeing.

“Cooking is a way to share the good things that I have within me with everybody.”

We love the heart Kin brings to food, and we can’t wait for some of you to experience what he creates at Mahai this season. 🌿
