Gm everyone, just got off the phone with Senasica Sonoyta and Mexico City. Dogs/Cats are being allowed thru into Mexico, please just be aware that they can ask for a dogs vaccination record, a recent health certificate and might do a sanitary inspection or screen your dog/cat for any visible injuries, wounds/open cuts.
TRAVELING BACK TO THE US - Also please remember to travel with the correct paper work to travel back to the states complete the CDC Dog Import Form online, valid for six months. https://www.cdc.gov/.../dog-import-form-instructions.html . Dogs returning to the U.S. from Mexico may/can have a sanitary inspection or they can screen your dog/cat for any visible injuries, wounds/open cuts they might also require a Screwworm Freedom Certificate, you can contact Dr. Leon at Servicios Médicos VeterinariosDr. Leon (638) 383 3344 he is authorized by Senasica to issue these certificates if your pet may needs it. Also, a second option is Dr. Blanca at Mordel Servicios Veterinarios, her clinic also issues the certificates.
