Born in Puerto Rico to French parents, Thierry has spent decades bridging classical French cooking with the vibrant flavors of Mexico’s Pacific coast. Chef Xavier Salomon (https://hubs.ly/Q04wSTW-0) Culinary Director of Montage International (https://hubs.ly/Q04wSTZf0) and Executive Chef of Montage Los Cabos (https://hubs.ly/Q04wSTRz0), where he oversees all culinary operations across one of the world’s most prestigious luxury hotel collections, joins us for XV Punta Mita Gourmet & Golf, alongside his culinary team from Montage.

Born into a family with a Michelin-rated hotel and restaurant in Savoie, France, Xavier’s passion for cuisine was inherited and refined from an early age through rigorous classical training. In 2004, he became the fourth member of his family to earn the title of Maître Cuisinier de France, one of the most esteemed honors in French culinary tradition.
His philosophy, “refined simplicity,” places local ingredients at the center of every dish, transforming exceptional produce into unforgettable dining experiences.

The 29th, and first Native, recipient of the PGA TOUR’s (https://hubs.li/Q04v-r5x0) 2026 Payne Stewart Award, one of golf’s highest honors for character, sportsmanship, and service.

Notah’s connection to Punta Mita runs deep. He joined us for a family vacation this past spring, and attended the Punta Mita Pro-Am last January, a visit that planted the seed for something bigger: a new ambassador relationship, and a brand-new event coming to our community.

This October 1st–4th, Punta Mita proudly hosts the NB3 Jr. Golf National Championship on our Pacífico Golf Course, bringing high-level junior golfers, and an entirely new audience, to experience this special place.
