Today we are paying him a visit to see how he is getting on, while also revisiting the story of how he came to be with us

Meet the new babies!

First we have tiny Toby, found at 7 mile and taken to Bark Park before being brought to us. He was very underweight and malnourished, and was covered in some kind of thick sticky substance. He is now clean, eating well (every two hours so no sleep for us!) and gaining weight. Already up nearly 70 grams since we got him.

Then Sniffly, found alone in a basement car park. Thankfully somebody spotted her so that some amazing rescuers could go and collect her. She’s a healthy, fun loving little kitten and we’re so happy she is off the street.

Lastly; Romeo! Romeo appeared suddenly at somebody’s house; no sign of a mother or any siblings. Originally called Juliet, we discovered he is a boy upon going to the vet, so Romeo it is! Thankfully Romeo is in very good health, just a few fleas which the treatment has taken care of.

These are the kittens, but they represent just a few of the new cats we have taken in this past week. Every cat we rescue costs us a minimum of RM300 for tests and checkups alone, many cost a lot more if they’re not healthy. And that’s before we get to long term care and neutering.

If you wish to help support our work, any size donation is always appreciated. Our QR is attached, and we also have a donation link in our bio.

Thank you to everyone who continues to support us; we are truly grateful as we couldn’t do this without you.

We will keep you updated on these new arrivals!

Meet some of our newest arrivals 🐾

It has been another very busy few weeks at the shelter, with new cats and kittens continuing to come through our doors.

First is the tiny kitten who arrived today with a badly damaged and infected eye. She is now receiving the treatment she needs, and we will be doing everything we can for her. 🩷

Then there’s French Fry, our teeny little black and white kitten, followed by Ben, the big boy who had been living around an Airbnb. The people staying there had been feeding him for over a month, but when they left, Ben was left behind too.

We also finally have four beautiful kittens joining us at the shelter after spending the past few weeks quarantined at the vet. We’re currently in the very important process of finding names for all of them!

And finally, our very pregnant mumma cat, who looks like she will be introducing us to another litter of tiny arrivals very, very soon. 🥹

Right now, we are receiving a huge number of enquiries every single day from people asking for help with cats and kittens. We are doing our best to help wherever we can, but every new arrival means more food, medication, vaccinations, testing and veterinary care.

Our outstanding vet bills are currently sitting at well over RM7,000.

If anyone would like to help us keep going, our donation QR code is attached to this post, or you can use the payment link in our bio. Please note that these now go to our new HASS NGO bank account.

As always, a huge thank you to everyone who continues to support us, donate, share our posts and follow the lives of our cats. We genuinely couldn’t do this without you. 💕😸
