Assalamualaikum dan salam sejahtera kepada semua rakan campers!

Kami ingin memaklumkan kepada semua rakan campers yang dihargai bahawa Sungkailand akan ditutup buat sementara waktu bermula sekarang sehingga 30 Jun 2026.

Penutupan ini adalah bagi memberi laluan bagi Uncle Megat untuk menunaikan ibadah Haji. Kami memohon doa dan sokongan daripada semua agar urusan Uncle dipermudahkan dan mendapat haji yang mabrur.

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF SUNGKAILAND CAMPSITE 🏕️

Assalamualaikum and greetings to our fellow campers!

We wish to inform all our valued guests that Sungkailand will be closed from now until 30 June 2026.This temporary closure is to allow our campsite owner, Uncle Megat, the opportunity to perform his Hajj pilgrimage. We ask for your kind prayers and understanding as he embarks on this sacred journey.

Key Information:
Closure Period: Effective immediately until 30 June 2026.
Reopening Date: We expect to welcome you back starting 1 July 2026.
Bookings: For those with existing inquiries, please note that no new bookings will be accepted during this time.

We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause to your camping plans. We look forward to seeing you again soon for more peaceful riverside memories in Sungkai!.

One year ago, we were just getting started with a dream to create a sanctuary where everybody can experience the magic of "Tenang is Good".

Looking back today, our hearts are full. We want to say a massive "THANK YOU" to every camper, family, and nature lover who has visited us at Sungkailand over the past 12 months. Your laughter by the river, the stories shared over campfires with Uncle Megat, and your incredible support have turned this "semi-wild" retreat into a true community.

You’ve helped us grow in so many ways by pointing out necessities to make us grow.
From adding more toilets to chipping stones on our spacious lots, your suggestions have been the blueprint for every upgrade.

Whether it was a first-time camping trip, a birthday celebration, or a romantic "social detox" weekend, thank you for letting us be part of your story.

Thank you for respecting our "go-slow" philosophy and helping us keep the crystal-clear river and lush forest beautiful for those who follow.

We aren't done yet! We are constantly working to make Sungkailand even better by balancing modern comforts like clean seated toilets with the raw, peaceful magic of the Perak wilderness.

Here’s to many more years of peace, serenity, and waking up to the sounds of birds. 🐦🏕️
