He also proudly shows off two magnificent specimens of the endemic Quiver Tree - a photographer’s dream and a real highlight when staying at this charming owner-run guesthouse, which also happens to boast what might just be the finest restaurant in town.

Christmas is a very special time for us at Schützenhaus- so much so that we provided each staff member with a hamper of wholesome groceries for the entire family and gave everyone off between 24 and 28 December to spend time with family and friends during this festive season.
