Ozongwindi Lodge ("fruit of the Shepherd tree" in Herero) is a brand new lodge comprising 10 double free-standing thatched roof bungalows each with separate deck situated on the banks of the Khan River, bungalows are extremley luxurious which include Namibian granite bathroom vanity tops and free-standing Victoria Albert baths. All bungalows are airconditioned / heated / mini bar / coffee station
/ vanity safes, a number of bungalows are fitted with sleeper couches which bungalows can accommodate 3 persons. Main building is built on a granite out-crop comprising large reception area / separate lounge / dining room / lounge deck and dining deck with veiws over illuminated water-hole, separate airconditioned library / fire place with inter-net access and DSTV. Ozongwindi Lodge is a bird-watchers paradise as all bungalows are situated under a canopy of indiginous trees on the banks of the Khan River. Game species include Oryx, kudu, springbok, hartebeest, black & blue wildebeest, cheetha, leopard, honey badger and most of small species of game commen to the area.
