Before you see the herd, you often see the giraffe.

Across the reserve, they become the landscape’s tallest point of reference, browsing above the canopy and visible across distances where other animals disappear into the vegetation.

From a game drive vehicle, a giraffe on the horizon tells you something before you arrive: the vegetation supports height, and there's something worth slowing down for.

This is your introduction to eland.

Africa’s largest antelope moves through Epacha in quiet formation; steady, alert, and shaped by the rhythm of the grassland.

On the reserve, around 300 eland move through open terrain, often close enough for you to notice the details.
One of them is sound.

Eland click when they walk, a tendon sound from the knee that helps keep the herd connected through dense vegetation or low visibility.

We are seeking experienced, guest-centred Lodge Managers to lead operations at Epacha Private Game Reserve.

This role is suited to confident leaders who can manage complex lodge operations, engage naturally with high-end international guests, and set clear operational standards within a luxury safari environment.

Strong administrative and financial acumen is essential.

Key Requirements:

• Proven Lodge Manager or Senior Operations experience in a 4–5-star safari lodge
• Strong leadership across all departments
• Experience working with Innkeeper Hospitality Management System
• Exceptional guest engagement and communication skills
• Advanced admin, HR, and cost-control capability
• Ability to lead with structure and consistency in a remote environment

A guiding background, with the ability to mentor guides, enhance reserve activities, and align safari operations with luxury guest expectations, will be considered an additional advantage.
