On our safari farm we have an abundance of wildlife including giraffe, oryx, wildebeest, steenbok, cape eland, kudu, waterbuck, hippo, zebra, baboon, cheetah and leopard. Whether you choose a morning mountain drive, a standard game drive or the special tours to see our cheetahs and leopards in their natural surroundings, we guarantee that you won’t be disappointed. In the morning we offer a mountain drive where you can experience the sun rising on the Khomas Highlands amid stunning scenery. Once the sun is up your guide will drive you into the mountains to watch nature waking up while you enjoy a cup of coffee or tea. With luck you may even be one of very few who have caught a glimpse of the rare Hartmann’s mountain zebra. The standard game drive takes place in the late afternoon when the animals emerge from the shadows after the heat of the day. Catch sight of a jackal as you drive along, stop to take pictures of warthog and antelope and enjoy the diverse birdlife of the farm before sipping your sundowner on the edge of the dam in the company of our four very curious hippos. We also offer safaris on horseback during which you can get much closer to game such as giraffe, kudu and zebra. While staying at our guest lodge you can use our large pool, visit our information centre or go for a hike on one of four well-marked trails. When you book our standard package one game drive and one cheetah and leopard tour is included.
