Travelers Rest B & B was started in December of 2009, by a newly married couple of British and Namibian descend. Conveniently located just within 15 minutes drive from the centre of the Windhoek city, Travelers Rest B &B offers very serene environment, in which guests relax or to do work. We have personally made every effort to carefully and uniquely decorate each room. There are 7 rooms guests ca
n choose from. All 5 of our rooms are fitted with double beds and can sleep two people each. One of other two can sleep a family of four and the other one can sleep two people on separate beds, thus the establishment can accommodate up to 15 people in total. All care has been take to provide absolute comfort to our guests as all seven rooms are en-suite; and equipped, air conditioners, fridges, microwaves and satellite TVs, including internet facilities. Travelers Rest offers secure, spacious and safe off-street parking with car shading complete with security fence and alarm system. Our guests’ security is foremost and thus unrivaled. For outdoor relaxation we provide outdoor braai/barbeque facilities. Guests arriving from the Rehoboth or from Hosea Kutako International Airport can access our B&B through Independence Avenue and can take Sam Nujoma Drive westwards to Bach Street and turn right. Guests arriving from Okahandja can take Windhoek West route to Florence Nightingale, turn left and again turn right at the 4-way traffic lights into Bach Street. From the Independence Avenue guests can take John Meinert Street westerly direction and turn right into Bach Street, Windhoek West. Guests looking to explore Windhoek city can visit the town’s famous traditional craft markets, the Zoo park, the National Museum, the Heroes Acre, Daan Viljoen resort, century-old churches, parliament gardens or choose eat out from variety of restaurants with exquisite cuisines and entertainment activities.
