Today, I was truly humbled and touched when a group of more than 60 young beneficiaries of the Stina Youth Growth Foundation (SYGF) from different constituencies across the Khomas Region paid a surprise visit to my office.
At first, I was shocked to see a large group of young people gathered outside my office with placards and songs calling my name, I honestly thought it might be a protest 😅, but to my surprise, it was a beautiful moment of appreciation! ❤️
The youth came to express their gratitude for the small contributions SYGF has made toward their growth and empowerment. They carried heartfelt messages written on placards and even presented me with a lovely A3 Certificate of Appreciation.
Among those who shared their stories was Stephanie Shaumbwako, a Grade 8 learner from St. Paul’s College whose book publication was proudly sponsored by SYGF, and Sam Inghamba from Moses Garoeb Constituency, where SYGF previously donated over 300 food parcels to families in need.
Moments like these remind me why we do what we do, to inspire hope, to give opportunities, and to uplift our young people.
To all the youth who came today, thank you from the bottom of my heart. Your smiles, songs, and appreciation mean more than words can express. Let’s continue growing together and building a brighter future for Namibia 🇳🇦❤️
