There’s still plenty of Amsterdam to enjoy outside, but there’s something particularly lovely about coming back to the hotel afterwards — a drink in the private gardens, a quiet corner overlooking the canal, and the sort of warm, thoughtful service that makes you feel completely looked after without ever making a fuss about it.
